Happy weekend

(Flashmob / Happy Techno / ElRow Music / Lapsus)

A production duo that has been notably consistent in their quality and efforts in recent years, JSRP are undeniably one of the UK’s most beloved, refreshing pairings. After meeting during the summertime season on the magical Balearic island of Ibiza in 2013, they returned to the UK and immediately began knocking heads in the studio. What ensued was to become the foundation for an established tag-team with an impressive catalogue of releases and an unprecedented level of expanding knowledge, creativity and ability.

The pair is blessed with the advantage of similar acoustic roots during their childhood. Raised on a complex diet of 80’s funk, disco and soul music (which is considered by many to be the golden era in music), Jack and Richey both also transitioned through the emergence of UK garage and into the beginnings of progressive house and beyond. Naturally, that makes for a watertight shared understanding and passion for a lot of the same sounds which is flawlessly demonstrated in their productions.

JSRP have already amassed releases on some of the most revered labels in modern house and tech with the likes of Lapsus Music, Madtech Records, Elrow Music & 303Lovers being in amongst the mix. This has led to great exposure for the duo, with their music being supported by some of the most influential names in today’s industry, including Danny Howard, Route 94, Shaf Huse, Neverdogs, Wade, De La Swing, and many more.

Not only limited to the studio, but the pair also has an extensive gigging CV. They have been privileged to play at some of the most esteemed venues around the UK, Including Gorilla, Lightbox, Lab 11, Village Underground, Rainbow Venues, Mint Warehouse, Ministry Of Sound. On their travels, they have had the opportunity to support some of their favourite artists, aligning comfortably with the likes of Kevin Knapp, Cristoph, Yousef, Camelphat, Latmun, DJ SKT, Sam Divine, Low Steppa, Hannah Wants, Leftwing:Kody and many others.

With upcoming releases on Flashmob Records, Happy Techno & Space Invaders, along with their blossoming ‘Rich Got Jacked’ brand going from strength to strength it is looking like their rise in notoriety is nowhere near done. In fact, they are merely just getting into their rhythm, with a big emphasis on the expectation for their future as a groundbreaking act.
