Desiray Saija was born and raised in world’s port nr. 1 Rotterdam.
Her parents encouraged her to practice classical ballet and listen to all kinds of music from an early
age on. This is how her wide interest for music first came to bloom.
She grew up with Soul,Funk,Pop,Punk,Disco and Classical music. 
When her parents discovered her love for
music they decided to buy her a record player, which she fed with all her favorite (MAXi) singles and
LP’s ranging from ABBA to ZZ-top. 
She got triggered by Electronic dance music in a later stage when she started visiting the most popular clubs in Holland in those days, like The Roxy, IT and Nighthown.
Magnetized by watching the skills of the DJ’s in the booth she knew what she wanted to do. 
She got herself two record players, a mixing unit and went out on a weekly hunt for Records in all the hottest Record Stores.
She mastered mixing with Vinyl and landed her first big gig at Club Las Palmas in Rotterdam. Playing
alongside big names like Fedde Le Grand, Erick E and Miss Monica. 
In the six years following, Desiray rocked her audience in various big Clubs and Festivals in Holland like Beachboom, Club Las Palmas,Paradiso, to name a few. At the same time she performed as a resident DJ at Miss Monica’s
“Absolutely Stereo” clubnights in Off corso and Winkel van Sinkel for more than three years.
After a short break she was invited to make a comeback by a good friend Lucien Foort to perform on his Heroes Of Housemusic stage at the Annual Festival of Outdoor Stereo.
Completely blown of her socks by artists like Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Loco Dice and Chris Liebing this set the tone for her mindset and musical direction nowadays.Her inventive mixes of Soul deep, Rhythm and Techno inspired sets are a true gem on the dancefloor.
